We'ar going to discuss Art Noeveau, find out when it all started. You will find out main aspect's in this attempt to create an international style based on decoration. Unfortunally our main subject will be about Alphonse Mucha one of the most famous designer in this particular style of art. We'ar going to talk about his biography, his style of work and we'ar going to look on actual example's of work made by him.
Art Noeveau was an international movement in art, it was developed in 1880's and 1890. Art Noveua explores a new style in the visual arts and architecture that developed in Europe and North America at the end of the nineteenth century. It's a style of art Based on precepts akin to William Morris' Arts and Crafts movement in England. Art Nouveau was established as the new decorative style of the twentieth century it was in many ways a response to the Industrial Revolution. Designers also believed in new era of decoration around us evewhere and It was a way of thinking about modern society and new production methods. This new art was represented in painting, architecture, furniture, jewelry, pottery, metalwork, glassware ,graphic design and textiles and sculpture. Typical for this style was artistic way of thinking of modern industrial techniques and modern materials provide decorative patterns used in all art forms. An artist should work on everything from architecture to furniture design.
